This is a very special limited release Star Wars collaboration by Adidas Originals. The SL 72 S.W (Star Wars) pays homage to a carbonized Han Solo in the Empire Strikes Back. The shoe features a carbonized Han Solo image on the tongue. Red hits on the back heel (similar to glowing look of the movie scene) add a nice detail. The 77 Han Solo logo (year original Star Wars was released) written on the side provides a nice detail as well. The shoe itself is made of a nice premium grainy leather. This gives the shoe carbon pewter look. The insole features embossed Star Wars logo with snitched tagging. The eyelet and hang tags feature the logos as well. Even the box is special for this release. It comes with a special carbonized looking plastic metallic cover (for one shoe only). This is strictly for looks and feel of the movie scene….not for wearing purposes. A special Star Wars box and wrapping puts this one up there as one of the better collaborations ever. A true special release!
